Photograph an object. Find out what it is. Keep the record museums keep.
Tessera identifies your object from a photo, gives an indicative value and says what to check next. Then it keeps every object, photo, document and decision in one record, the way a museum registrar would.
The free scan works on your phone now. No account needed to try it.

How it works
From a photo to a record you can rely on
Photograph
Use your phone, a camera on a stand at your desk, or Loupe on any web page. Add more views when Tessera asks for them.
Identify
What it probably is, when and where it was made, the marks and materials it noticed, and how sure it is.
Value
An indicative range with the reasons behind it, and a second opinion from a different AI when it matters.
Document
Provenance, condition, purchase and sale, documents and photos in one record. Every change is logged.

Found it online? Catalogue it from the page.
Loupe sits beside any auction site, dealer's shop or online catalogue. Select an object and Tessera gives a first opinion in seconds: what it probably is, an indicative value and what to ask before you bid. One click saves it in your cabinet, with the page it came from.

Who it is for
One record, three ways of working
Collectors
From a shoebox of finds to a documented collection, ready for your insurer and your heirs.
For collectorsDealers
Check a lot before you bid, track what you paid and sold for, and hand buyers a proper record.
For dealersMuseums
Faster cataloguing for small teams, with Spectrum-based fields, LIDO export and a full audit trail.
For museumsYour collection through time
See where your objects sit in history
Every dated object takes its place on a timeline, from the Bronze Age to last century. Objects without a firm date are counted, not guessed.
What Tessera does not do
Honest about what a photo can show
A value from Tessera is indicative: a starting point, not a formal appraisal. A photo cannot prove that an object is genuine; Tessera tells you what it saw, what would settle the question and when to ask an expert.
Your records are stored in the European Union. Photos are sent to AI providers only to analyse them, and you can have your cabinet deleted at any time.
